It's official. Casey is six and a half now. We celebrated with peanut butter cup brownies.

Casey made this at school. "If you take a mouse to the movies he will ask for wheat thins. Then he will (ask for) a hug." I saw this on the wall in her classroom and cracked up because we don't usually buy popcorn or candy at the movies. Not that we go to the movies very often. I bring her a little bag of wheat thins or Pirate's Booty. Heh. Poor kid. The other kids' mice all asked for chocolate, candy, pizza, popcorn, and sodas. One of them asked for candy and then asked for a napkin. That one cracked me up.

We did see Monsters Inc. 3D over the break though. It was great. We were all cracking up.

Last day of winter break

On the last day of our winter break we went to hang out with Karen and Ashley. We let the girls ride bikes, went out for Japanese food, and then went to their place for some basketball.

My Vacation - by Casey

This vacation I went to Davis. I slept over and I had fun with my friend. Her name is Hayley and I got to sleep over. It was fun and when I woke up I was in my parents' room. The next day I had to leave to Lake Tahoe. I stayed in Lake Tahoe for 4 days. I got to go skiing. On Christmas day I played with my presents. My friend Ava was there so we got to play together. Then on Wednesday two more friends came over. Their names are Kyle and Cami. They were adopted like me. Kyle is older and Cami and I are older too. Suddenly we all started to make a house and we had fun and had a snowball fight. Me and Cami made the snowballs and Veronica threw them. Ava got them and Kyle threw them. Then we went sledding and we got cold so we all went inside and drank hot chocolate. Then we ate dinner and dessert, opened our presents from each other then we went to bed and we got to watch a movie together. Arthur Christmas.

We had our ski lessons the next day. I got to the next level (Chinstrap Penguins) and then I got to ski and I got to go on a 4 person chair lift and a very high one. It was a lot of fun and I can't wait to do it again with my family. My family is very kind and nice. They helped me get my gear on. They are always there for me. Then we went home and I drove with my friend Ava and her mom and they also brought their dog along. Then we played and it was time to go home. Then on the way back we stopped at In n Out. Me and my mom did stickers together. Then it was time to go all the way home. I couldn't wait to sleep in our home. I missed my friends though. On the next day I got to eat in my own kitchen and it was a lot of fun because I like our own food.
